One address, read by a person: support@plushridge.com. Reply within one business day.

How fast you get a real answer depends on one thing — how many people have to be involved before there is one. Some questions we answer alone, in a single reply. Some need USPS, and USPS works on its own schedule. A few need the manufacturer.

So this page is grouped that way, with honest timing on each. Find your question and you'll know what to expect before you write.

Group 1 — Just us. One reply, usually the same day.

Nobody outside this company has to be contacted for any of these, so the only delay is the queue.

"Which one should I get?" Tell us where and when you'll use it — on the couch, in bed, as sleepwear, or worn around the house — and whether it's for you or someone who runs warm. We'll tell you which fits and which doesn't, including when the honest answer is that we don't carry the right thing.

"What's it actually made of?" Send the product name. You'll get the fiber content as the label states it, the measured dimensions, the weight in grams per square meter, and what that combination means in practice for the use you have in mind.

"Can I wash it?" Send the product name. Wash temperature, what to keep away from it, and how it holds up over a couple of years of real use.

"I need to cancel." Order number, and write immediately — the window closes when the order enters dispatch, and that's short. If it's already gone, we'll put you straight onto the returns route instead.

"I want to return something." Order number and which item. You'll get approval and the return address in the same reply, within one business day. You then have 14 days to ship it.

"Where do I send it?" By email, after approval — and it is not 4125 Cleveland Ave. That's a correspondence address; no package can be received there, and anything sent to it comes back to you at your cost.

"Where's my refund?" Order number. We inspect and refund within seven business days of the return reaching us, and we email you when the money goes out. After that it's your bank's turn, usually a few days more.

"I don't recognize this charge." Send the date and the amount. We'll find it or confirm it isn't ours — and that's worth doing before calling your bank, because a chargeback takes weeks where an email takes a day.

Group 2 — Us and USPS. An answer in stages, not in one reply.

These need a carrier inquiry, and that takes a few business days at USPS's pace rather than ours. We open it, not you. You'll get a first reply within one business day telling you it's been opened and roughly how long it takes, then the outcome when it arrives — without you having to chase.

"My tracking hasn't moved." Write when the status has been unchanged for seven business days. Before that it's normal: USPS usually doesn't scan a package until it reaches the first processing facility, so the first 24 to 48 hours after your dispatch email often show nothing at all, and a day or two of silence mid-route is routine.

"It's been too long." Our window is 6 to 10 business days door to door. Past ten, write with your order number and we start the inquiry.

"It says delivered and it isn't here." Check the mailbox, the porch, any safe place agreed with your carrier, neighbors, other people in the house, and the building office — small items often ship in a form that fits a mailbox. Then give it one to two business days, because packages do get scanned slightly early. Still nothing three business days after the scan? Write, and we'll take it up with USPS. Until it's physically in your hands, the loss is ours, not yours.

"It arrived damaged." Order number and three photos — the item, the outer packaging, and the shipping label — within three business days. All three matter: they're what the USPS claim is built on, and without the packaging and label it can't be filed. Take them before the box goes out. You pick a replacement or a refund, and we don't make you wait for the claim to conclude before you get either.

Group 3 — Us and the manufacturer. Rare, and the slowest.

A handful of questions we can't answer from our own records. We'll say so in the first reply rather than go quiet.

A specification that isn't on the product page. If a figure is missing, it's missing because the manufacturer never confirmed it — we leave fields blank rather than estimate. We'll go and ask, and we'll tell you if the answer doesn't come back.

Something that failed in use. Order number, a description, and ideally a ten-second video. Some of these we settle on the spot; others we check with the maker first, because a fault that turns out to be a pattern changes what we do about the whole batch. Either way, no window on our returns page applies to a defective product — implied warranties run in years, not days, and we pay shipping both directions on a valid claim.

A restock. We'll tell you what we've been told and how firm it is. We won't invent a date to end the conversation.

Things nobody can tell you

Worth knowing so you don't spend a day waiting on an answer that doesn't exist.

  • The exact day your package arrives. We know the window; USPS decides the day. Anyone naming one is guessing.
  • Whether USPS will redirect a package already in their network. That's between you and USPS through Informed Delivery, and it isn't always possible.
  • When a refund will appear on your statement. We can tell you the day we sent it. Your bank controls everything after that.
  • Whether a discount code can be applied after you've ordered. It can't — checkout is the moment.

What to put in the message

Your order number, on the first line. It's at the top of your confirmation email. With it we've found your order before we've finished reading. Without it we're matching names against email addresses, and that usually costs a day.

A photo for anything you can see. Damage, a wrong item, a color that didn't match the screen. A photo settles in two seconds what a paragraph argues about.

A short video for anything that does something. A zipper that catches, a seam coming apart, a fastening that won't hold. Ten seconds beats a careful description.

What we will never ask you for

People impersonating online stores count on you not knowing this list.

  • Your card number. Card details go from your browser to the payment processor and never enter our systems — we can't see them, so there's nothing for us to confirm.
  • Your password. It's stored hashed. We can't read it and we don't need it.
  • A payment by transfer, gift card, or app to "release" a package. Everything is paid at checkout.
  • Customs or import fees. We ship within the United States. On a domestic order they don't exist, so any message about them is fake.
  • A photo of your ID so you can see your own order history. We recognize you by the email address you ordered with.

Every real message from us comes from an address ending @plushridge.com. If something looks off, forward it to us and we'll confirm whether it's ours.

When you'll hear back

Within one business day, from a person. Write in the morning and it's usually the same day.

Messages that arrive in the evening, over a weekend, or on a federal holiday get answered in order on the next business day.

If your question falls into Group 2 or Group 3, that first reply tells you so, along with how long it normally takes. You won't be left in silence waiting for news.

Answers that are already written down

Processing times, transit, stalled tracking, and uncollected packages are in the Shipping Policy. The 30-day window, condition requirements by item state, who pays return postage, and refund timing are in the Return & Refund Policy. What we hold, how long, and who else sees it is in the Privacy Policy. The purchase itself, implied warranties, and your rights if we ship late are in the Terms & Conditions.

If your question is one of those, you have the answer now instead of tomorrow.
