Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 2, 2026

Every line in a document like this is a decision about something. The only question worth organizing around is who gets to make it — and the answer is never the same for two sections running.

So this page is split four ways:

Part 1 — What you decide. Yours alone. We don't get a vote. Part 2 — What we decide. Ours, and we say plainly where the limits of that are. Part 3 — What the law decides. Federal and Florida rules that apply whatever this page says, including where it would say otherwise. Part 4 — What neither of us decides. Weather, carriers, screens. What we do about each.

If a clause ever seems to put a decision in the wrong part, Part 3 wins.

We're an online store with no retail location. The address above is for correspondence. It isn't open to customers and no package can be received there — the return address comes by email after your return is approved.

Part 1 — What you decide

What you buy, and asking first

Browsing costs nothing and so does a question. If you aren't sure whether something will suit you, email before you order rather than after. We'd rather spend ten minutes helping you choose than process a return.

Product pages carry measured dimensions, materials, and care instructions. Where a manufacturer hasn't confirmed a figure, we leave the field blank rather than estimate it.

Your shipping address

You enter it; we ship to it. An incomplete or mistyped address is the single commonest reason a package never arrives, and a package lost that way isn't one we replace at our own cost.

Check the street number, the apartment or unit, and the ZIP before you pay. Before dispatch we can change an address — email right away. After dispatch it's fixed with the carrier, though USPS Informed Delivery sometimes still allows a redirect.

Your payment method

Pay with any method offered at checkout. By ordering you confirm the method is yours or you're authorized to use it, that any promotional code you've entered is one you're entitled to, and that there are funds to cover it.

Card details go straight to the payment processor and never reach our systems. We can't see them, so we can't confirm them — and nobody from Plushridge will ever email or call you asking for a card number.

Whether to cancel

Free, for as long as the order hasn't entered dispatch. Email with your order number and ask; we move fast, so the window is short and the same hour matters.

Once it's gone out, cancellation becomes a return. Don't refuse the package or leave it uncollected — that costs you the actual shipping both ways. Accept it and return it instead.

Whether to return

Our Return and Refund Policy carries the window, the condition requirements, who pays return postage, and the refund timing. It forms part of these Terms.

Two things decided here and not there: email us before you ship anything back, so a package arriving unannounced can be matched to your order, and the return address is not 4125 Cleveland Ave — you'll get the right one in the approval email, within one business day.

Whether to accept a delay or take your money back

If we can't ship within the time we stated, the choice is yours, not ours: wait for the revised date, or cancel for a full refund. We notify you without waiting to be asked. The rule behind this is in Part 3.

Whether to take a replacement or a refund

If something arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email with your order number and clear photos of the item, the outer packaging, and the shipping label. Those photos are the basis of our claim with the carrier, so take them before the box goes out.

You pick the outcome — replacement or refund — and either way it costs you nothing. We don't ask you to pay return postage on an item that was wrong when it reached you, and in most cases we don't ask for it back at all.

Whether to hear from us

Order confirmations, dispatch notices, and replies from support are part of the purchase and keep coming. Marketing email only goes to people who asked for it, and one click on the unsubscribe link ends it.

What you decide not to do

Use the store for its purpose and nothing else. That means no unlawful or fraudulent use; no malware; no scraping, bots, or automated collection; no attempts to get around security or into accounts and systems that aren't yours; no denial-of-service; no copying the site or its content for a competing service; no impersonation; and no using anything you find here for unsolicited marketing.

Information you give us — name, address, payment details — should be true and current.

Part 2 — What we decide

Prices, and what happens when one is wrong

Prices are in U.S. dollars. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, with sales tax added where it applies (Part 3).

Prices change from time to time. A change never touches an order we've already confirmed.

Occasionally a price or description is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, a specification that doesn't match the product. We're not obliged to fill an order on an obvious error. What we do is contact you, show you the corrected price, and let you confirm or cancel. If we can't reach you within a reasonable time, we cancel and refund in full. We don't quietly ship at the corrected price and bill the difference.

Whether we accept your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send the order confirmation, not when you click.

If a product turns out to be unavailable after you've ordered, we cancel that item or the order and refund it. We may also refuse or cancel where we reasonably suspect fraud, an unauthorized transaction, or a pricing error. Where payment has already been taken, the refund follows — we don't hold funds on a cancelled order.

How we ship

We ship within the United States only, with USPS.

Shipping is free on every order. No charge appears at the door: we ship domestically, so there are no customs duties, import fees, or brokerage charges on anything we send.

An order with several items may travel in separate packages, arriving on different days with their own tracking numbers. You're never charged extra for that — check whether there's more than one tracking number in your email before writing to us about something missing.

Processing and transit times are in the Shipping Policy. What's decided here is the backstop: if we can't meet the time we stated, Part 3 governs what happens next.

We decide to carry the risk until it reaches you

Until the package is physically in your hands, loss or damage in transit is ours, not yours.

A carrier's "delivered" scan is evidence that delivery happened — not a verdict. Scans get made at the wrong house and sometimes a day early. If the scan doesn't match what actually happened, we take it up with USPS; you don't.

If tracking says delivered and there's no package, check the mailbox, the porch, any agreed safe place, neighbors, other people in the household, and building management first. Then give it one to two business days — early scans are common. Still nothing after three business days? Email us with your order number.

How a claim gets handled

We review what you send and may ask for photographs or, where it's genuinely useful, the item back for inspection. We pay for that return.

What we won't do is make the evidence an obstacle. If the photos show the problem, that's the end of the question — we don't ask for an unopened box, an original carton you've already recycled, or a second round of pictures.

Promotional codes

One code per order unless a promotion says otherwise. Codes carry their own expiry dates, minimums, and product restrictions, have no cash value, and can't be exchanged for cash.

If you return an order bought with a code, the refund is what you actually paid. That's arithmetic, not a penalty.

Our content

The site's text, product photography, graphics, layout, code, and the Plushridge name and logo belong to Plushridge LLC or our licensors. Saving or printing pages for your own non-commercial use is fine. Copying, republishing, modifying, selling, or using any of it commercially needs our written permission, and the name and logo need it in every case.

If you think something here infringes your copyright, email us with the work and where it appears and we'll deal with it.

What you send us. Post a review, photo, or suggestion and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use and publish it, including in marketing. It stays yours. You confirm it's your own material and contains nothing unlawful or misleading. We don't publish invented reviews and we don't delete a review for being negative.

When we restrict access

Serious or repeated breach of the conduct rules in Part 1 can cost you access to the site, and unlawful activity may be reported. Where it's practical we warn you first; where the site or other customers are at risk, we act immediately.

Orders we've already accepted get fulfilled anyway. Losing access to the website doesn't cancel a contract that already exists.

When we change these Terms

We can revise this page. The current version is always here with its date at the top.

Changes don't apply retroactively. Your order is governed by the version in force on the day you placed it, and nothing we post later changes that.

Continuing to browse isn't agreement to anything. You enter the contract by placing an order, not by reading a page — and each order is made under the terms shown at that time.

Part 3 — What the law decides

These apply whatever the rest of this page says. Where something above conflicts with something here, this part governs.

We have to ship on time, and you can cancel if we don't

Under the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, we must ship within the time we stated when you ordered. Where we state no time, the limit is 30 days from the day we receive your properly completed order.

If we can't make it, we have to tell you — clearly, promptly, and without you having to ask. The notice gives you a revised date and the choice: consent to the delay, or cancel and get your money back in full.

Silence is not consent. If we can't give a revised date, or the delay runs more than 30 days past the original one, your order is treated as cancelled and refunded unless you've actively told us to go ahead.

You can cancel at any point before the order ships, whatever date we've given.

16 CFR Part 435.

Refunds have a deadline, and it isn't "when the bank gets round to it"

Once your right to a refund has vested under that Rule:

  • Paid by card or on credit — within one billing cycle.
  • Paid by cash, check, or money order — within seven working days.

The refund goes back to the original payment method. A store credit or a gift card is not a refund and we won't offer one in place of your money unless you ask for it.

What your bank or card issuer does after we send it is outside our hands, and typically adds a few days. That's their leg, not ours, and it doesn't extend our deadline.

16 CFR § 435.2(f).

Implied warranties come with the goods

Under Florida's adoption of the Uniform Commercial Code, goods sold by a merchant carry an implied warranty of merchantability — they must be fit for the ordinary purpose goods of that kind are used for. Where we know you're relying on us to pick something for a particular purpose, an implied warranty of fitness for that purpose applies too.

Nothing on this page disclaims those, and if we give a written warranty on a product, federal law prevents us from disclaiming them at all.

Fla. Stat. §§ 672.314 and 672.315; Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.

Deceptive practices are actionable, by you

The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act prohibits deceptive acts and unfair practices in trade. It gives a consumer a private right of action, and a prevailing party can recover attorney's fees.

We mention it because it's the statute that makes the claims on this site enforceable against us. If a delivery promise, a price, or a product description on our site turns out not to be true, you have a remedy and it isn't dependent on our goodwill.

Fla. Stat. ch. 501, part II; §§ 501.211 and 501.2105.

Sales tax

Florida sales tax is 6%, plus any county discretionary sales surtax that applies where the order is going. It's calculated at checkout on your shipping address and shown before you pay. Where an order ships to a state in which we're required to collect, that state's tax applies instead.

How long you have to bring a claim

Four years on a claim for breach of a contract for the sale of goods, and five years on a written contract generally. We don't shorten either in these Terms, and nothing here asks you to agree to a shorter period.

Fla. Stat. §§ 672.725 and 95.11.

What we can't limit

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or goodwill.

That limit doesn't apply, and can't, to: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; the implied warranties above; our obligations under the FTC Rule; or anything else federal or Florida law doesn't permit us to exclude.

No term in this document waives a right you can't lawfully waive. If any clause here reads as though it does, it doesn't — it's read down to what the law allows and the rest stands.

If you break these Terms

Where you've genuinely caused us loss — through unlawful use of the site, fraudulent orders, or infringing someone else's rights — you're responsible for it, and we may take it up through the courts.

That's confined to your own conduct. It isn't a general indemnity for anything that happens to us, it doesn't cover our own mistakes, and it doesn't apply to an ordinary dispute about an order.

Part 4 — What neither of us decides

Things no clause can allocate, and what happens with each.

The carrier's route and timing. Once a package is handed over, USPS controls it. We see the same tracking you do. USPS usually doesn't scan a package until it reaches the first processing facility, so the first 24 to 48 hours after a dispatch email often show nothing, and a day or two of silence mid-route is normal. If tracking hasn't moved in seven business days, email us and we open the inquiry with USPS — that's our job, not yours.

Weather and disruption. Hurricanes and tropical storms are a fact of shipping from Southwest Florida, along with strikes, outages, government action, and other events outside our reasonable control. Where one materially affects your order we tell you and we ship as soon as we can. This doesn't touch your rights under the FTC Rule in Part 3 — a delay is a delay however it was caused, and the choice to wait or cancel stays yours.

Your screen. Color and finish differ between monitors, phones, and daylight. We photograph products as accurately as we can and describe the color in words as well as showing it. A color that isn't what you expected is a valid reason for a return under our Return and Refund Policy.

Manufacturing variation. Natural materials and separate production runs differ slightly in shade, texture, and weight. We flag it where a product is prone to it. Variation beyond what's normal is a defect, and it's handled as one.

Whether the website is up. We keep it running and can't promise it always will be. Maintenance and faults happen. An order we've already confirmed is unaffected.

Words we use

Order — your request to buy, submitted at checkout. An offer, not yet a contract. Order confirmation — the email that accepts it. The contract starts here. Business day — Monday to Friday, excluding federal holidays. Dispatch — the point at which the package leaves us and goes to USPS.

Headings are for convenience. Singular includes plural where the sense requires it.

Governing law, and where a dispute goes

These Terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any federal or state consumer protection law that says otherwise.

Email us first. support@plushridge.com. We acknowledge a complaint within one business day and answer it substantively within fourteen. Most things that reach a dispute could have been settled in one message.

If that doesn't resolve it, the courts of the State of Florida and the federal courts sitting in Florida have jurisdiction, with venue in Lee County. Florida small claims court handles claims up to $8,000, costs little, and doesn't require a lawyer — for most disputes about an order, it's the practical route.

Nothing here stops you from exercising a right or remedy that can't lawfully be waived, or from reporting a matter to the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division or the Federal Trade Commission.

The rest

Personal use. Our products are intended for personal and household use. Orders clearly placed for resale need a written arrangement with us first.

Privacy. What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and who else sees it is in our Privacy Policy. It governs; where this page and that one differ on a privacy question, that one wins.

Other websites. We link out for convenience — carrier tracking, manufacturers, social media. Their policies apply once you're there, not ours, and a link isn't an endorsement. You're welcome to link to our homepage; framing our site or implying a partnership we don't have isn't allowed.

Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, and we can't promise the site is free of every fault or harmful component. Keep your own devices protected.

Assignment. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We can, on a merger or sale of the business, without reducing your rights.

Severability and waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it's narrowed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stands. Not enforcing a provision immediately isn't a waiver of it.

Survival. Intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law, and the provisions in Part 3 survive the end of your use of the site.

Third parties. Nobody outside you and Plushridge LLC has enforcement rights under these Terms unless the law requires it.
